The List that Never Ends: #71-80

Thanksgiving is never over, my friends....

Giving thanks today for...

71. Modern medicine.... specifically, today, for ibuprofen for all of life's little aches and pains....

72. Family dinners

73. Belting out the Hallelujah Chorus alone in my car, and hitting the high notes

74. A working car

75. The original Christmas Gift - God's Son, born to die, for you and for me.

76. Candles in windows and glowing trees

77. God's provision, every time....

78. The thrill of knowing I have exactly 5 days to START and finish Christmas shopping... heh heh. Actually, I'm not too thrilled or thankful for my procrastination, but I AM thankful for the ability to give gifts to people I love...

79. 3 weeks of having my husband home from school...

80. Hot chocolate.... again.

What are you thankful for today?
Link up over at Ann's..... I am.

  1. Amen on #71 - I use it far more than I wish I had to. :-P

    Merry Christmas!

  2. We're getting old, my friend... ;o)
    Merry Christmas!

  3. Delighted to meet you today! Hope you don't mind if I splash around to get to know you a bit more. This looks like a refreshing place to get drenched in some serious goodness.

Have a joy filled love overflow Christmas,

  4. Thanks so much for stopping by, Sarah! I'll look forward to "getting to know you" through your blog too! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy 2011! God bless!

  5. I remember the first, and only, time we tried Turkish Delight. Four of our children had watched the Chronicles of Narnia and were wanting to try Turkish Delight. On a trip to England I found some. They were so happy and surprised when I brought it back to them. The happiness quickly turned to disappointment. It was pretty awful tasting. So I know exactly what you're talking about!

  7. I know - the magic was gone for us too, Debbie! It's definitely best left up to the imagination. :o)
