Bzzzz...

Yesterday I carved a little bee stamp...my first hand-carved stamp ever!
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out...

My first use for this little bug
was to decorate a few little thank you notes
that will be going out with some orders from my shop -
thank you!
Bzzzz....

Don't forget!
There's still time to enter the giveaway,
and you can earn some extra entries (and a little bee thank you note!)
by placing an order before 11.23.09!

  2. Sweet! I carved some stamps as a teen, but they were really big and made of leather. Looks like you actually used stamp block material.

What a cute design! I see a whole line...

  3. Thank you, Faith and Cheri! It was fun - I definitely would like to do more! http://www.dickblick.com/products/staedtler-mastercarve-artist-carving-blocks/#description This is a link to the material I used - it is designed specifically for stamps, but you can also use rubber erasers.
