{Art} 4th Annual Fine Art in the Park

Hi there. Things may be a little quiet here on the blog for the next couple of weeks - that's because I'm in the final stages of pre-art-show-preparation-manic-frenzy! However, I did want to let you know that you are invited to....

in Jonesborough, TN

Dates & Times:

Saturday, October 20th - 10am-5pm
Sunday, October 21st - Noon-5pm

This will be a judged and juried show and will include a variety of fine art and crafts from local artists and artisans, as well as a tasting area where you can sample locally made cheese, chocolate, wine, and honey.

This will be the last public show that I will be participating in before we move to Spain, so if you've been wanting to browse through my work in person, this is your opportunity!

I will be selling originals, various sizes of prints, greeting cards, pins, necklaces, and magnets featuring my original artwork.

Be sure to stop by and say hello if you come, and feel free to share the Facebook Event with your friends and family - the more, the merrier!

Hope to see you there!

    1. Thank you, Jenni! I'm sure Spain will provide a lot of new inspiration... and it will be nice to have things "settle down" a bit after we get all of the school/graduation/moving/military chaos over with - I'm hoping I'll get a lot more time to paint next year!

  3. I hope you have a wonderful show! If I lived closer... I would love to stop by! :) I have a question for you, do you hang up one of each of your prints for people to see and then have the prints behind your table or something to actually give after the sale?

    1. Thanks, Jennifer! The framed pieces you can see hanging on the walls of my tent in the photos above are a mixture of original paintings and framed prints. I don't have all of my prints displayed in frames, though. If you look along the sides, I have baskets/racks of unframed, matted prints that people can flip through and purchase. Getting more framed pieces for the walls is something I need to work on in the future, but for this show, it will probably be about like you see above. The cost of the frames add up, and the unframed prints sell better anyway. I haven't had as much time to devote to this show as I would have liked to have - things have been a little crazy with the move on the horizons.
